Overview

This page lists all Signature Validation (DS) error codes that may be returned when a submitted document’s digital signature fails validation — such as a missing signature, missing signing time, mismatched signer identity, or a document digest mismatch indicating the content may have changed after signing.

Each error includes the error code, a description of the error, possible causes, and the proposed solution to resolve it.

Note! Error codes and messages may be updated from time to time as new validation rules are introduced. Always refer to the latest version of this page for the most accurate list.

Error Codes

Error Code Error Description Possible Causes Proposed Solution
DS301 Signature not found. The e-Invoice does not contain a valid digital signature element. Since digital signatures are mandatory for signed submissions, the validator cannot verify the authenticity and integrity of the document. • Verify the signing process completed successfully.
• Confirm the payload contains the required ds:Signature structure.
• Review SDK signature implementation for details
DS303 Signing time not found. The digital signature exists, but the mandatory signing timestamp is missing. The validator cannot determine when the document was signed. • Ensure the signing solution generates the SigningTime attribute.
• Review SDK signature implementation for details
DS310 Signer of invoice doesn’t match the submitter of document. UserLoginId doesn’t match with the SERIALNUMBER. The user who submitted the document does not match the person or organization represented by the signing certificate. The system validates that the certificate Serial Number belongs to the same submitter account. • Verify the submitter account used for API submission.
• Verify the certificate Serial Number associated with the taxpayer.
• Ensure the signing certificate belongs to the same organization submitting the document.
DS311 Signer of invoice doesn’t match the submitter of document. TIN doesn’t match with the OI. The Tax Identification Number (TIN) extracted from the signing certificate does not match the Organization Identifier (OI) or taxpayer information associated with the submitter. • Verify the taxpayer TIN registered in MyInvois.
• Compare the TIN contained within the certificate against the submitter TIN.
• Use the correct certificate associated with the taxpayer account.
DS322 Document digest value doesn’t match digest calculated value from existing document content. Document content might have changed. The digest value stored within the digital signature does not match the digest recalculated from the document content. This indicates the document was modified after being signed or the digest was generated incorrectly. • Ensure the document is not modified after signing.
• Generate the final payload before computing the digest.
• Verify canonicalization and hashing implementation.
Re-sign the document after all content changes are complete.
• Compare calculated digest against the digest stored in the signature.

Notes

Ensure the document is signed using the correct certificate matching the submitter's identity, and that the document content is not modified after signing.
